Police keep Halyvourgia strikers at bay
Police kept strikers out of the Halyvourgia Ellados steel plant at Aspropyrgos on Monday.
It allowed a number of employees to go in and begin the cleanup process that will allow the factory to restart operations.
Labor Minister Yiannis Vroutsis is scheduled to meet with the striking staff again on Friday, following the union?s decision on Saturday to continue its industrial action, which was voted with an overwhelming majority.
