September inflation up 0.3 percent year-on-year

Greece?s European Union-harmonized inflation rate was 0.3 percent higher in September than a year earlier, compared with 1.2 percent in August, the Athens-based Hellenic Statistical Authority said in an e-mailed statement on Tuesday.

The rate calculated using national methods was 0.9 percent in September, compared with 1.7 percent in August, according to a separate e-mailed statement from the authority.
