Greek Consumer Price Index up 1pct y-o-y in November

Greece’s Consumer Price Index showed a 1 percent year-on-year rise in November, according to data published by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Monday.

Compared with October 2012, the CPI in November decreased by 0.5 percent.

“In the 12-month period from December 2011 to November 2012 compared with the period from December 2010 to November 2011 the annual average rate of change of the CPI was 1.6 percent,” ELSTAT said.

“The corresponding annual average rate of change of the CPI in the previous year (December 2010 to November 2011), was 3.6 percent,” the agency added.
