Four gas projects approved
The Development Ministry on Wednesday gave the green light for European Union funding to be provided to the National Natural Gas System Operator (DESFA) for the gas compressor station at Nea Mesimvria in Thessaloniki, as well as high-compression gas pipelines to Aliveri on Evia and between Aghioi Theodori and Megalopoli in the Peloponnese, and the Revythoussa thermal power station.
The General Secretariat for Investments and Development has asked the Bank of Greece to disburse nearly 55.7 million euros, which constitutes the share of the EU subsidy for these four projects that have either been completed on DESFA funds and are in the construction process.
