Banks to issue 2012 results a month earlier

Greece’s four main lenders (National, Alpha, Eurobank and Piraeus) will publish their 2012 financial reports by the end of February and not end-March, as provided by law.

The change comes due to the fact that the banks need to present last year’s results to the markets to draw funds as part of the recapitalization process.
