Negative credit expansion in December, Bank of Greece data shows

Total credit in Greece eased 0.9 percent in December compared to the previous month and 4 percent compared to a year earlier, according to data released by the Bank of Greece on Monday.

As a result, total credit reached 227.7 billion euros, which corresponds to 117.4 percent of gross domestic product.
