Animals a crowd-puller at Zootechnia exhibition
Zootechnia 2013, Thessaloniki’s international fair for livestock and poultry which is now in its eighth edition, attracted a high number of visitors in its first two days at the northern port city’s International Exhibition Center, with the popular inclusion of a horse show and a pet festival.
The fair, which is organized by Helexpo, will continue through Sunday.
Zootechnia 2013, officially opened on Thursday by Agricultural Development Minister Athanasios Tsaftaris, features 578 participants from a total of 36 countries, up on last year’s 570.
