Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras held a meeting in Athens on Friday with member companies of the Hellenic-Dutch Association of Commerce and Industry (HEDA), part of the government’s effort to retain the support of foreign companies in its campaign to steer the economy out of a five-year long recession.

Stournaras updated them on the state of the economy and its prospects for a rebound, while the business representatives focused on growth expectations.

Taking part in the meeting were representatives from Campina Hellas (FrieslandCampina), Athenian Brewery, ING, Unilever Group, Interamerican, Friesland Foods Hellas (FrieslandCampina), Philips Hellas, Coral/Shell, ABN AMRO, Air France/KLM and HEDA.
