TAP venture eyes potential Greek partners
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG venture, an 800-kilometer project to bring gas to Europe from Azerbaijan, is talking with potential partners in Greece and Italy, managing director Kjetil Tungland said on Tuesday.
Shareholders in the venture, known as TAP, are in discussions with private and state-controlled companies from Greece and Italy, Tungland said in an interview in Athens.
He declined to identify possible partners and wouldn’t comment on whether Greek state gas supplier DEPA and Enel SpA, Italy’s biggest utility, are involved in the talks.
