Euro Working Group due to approve delayed March tranche of 2.8bln euros for Greece

The Euro Working Group, which is due to meet on Monday, is expected to approve the release of a 2.8-billion-euro loan tranche for Greece.

The instalment has been delayed from March but is due to receive the green light from the technical team that advises eurozone finance ministers after Greek MPs approved on Sunday night a set of measures previously agreed with the troika.

Out of 300 MPs, 168 lawmakers approved the reforms, which include the dismissal of 15,000 civil servants by the end of 2014.
