Sales window to open next week
The Athens Tradesmen Association announced on Wednesday that a 10-day sales window is scheduled open this month from next Thursday, May 16, until May 25, utilizing a new government regulation the Development Ministry is promoting that provides for additional sales periods in spring and fall.
The association will also combine the extra sales period with a variety of entertainment for shoppers, as it has also done in the past.
Consumers can visit the www.pameathina.net website, where they will be able to get a full picture of the offers and discounts each store has planned for the 10-day period. The association has advised its members to advertise their goods on the site.
The Development Ministry’s plan provides for a sales window in the first 10 days of May, but this year that coincided with the Easter holidays.
