Piraeus Bank to allocate 500 hectares to young farmers

Piraeus Bank Group is expected to provide 500 hectares of farming land to young people wishing to work in agriculture it was announced on Thursday. The offer is aimed at men and women up to 35 years of age.

The bank is inviting interested parties to submit applications starting on June 1. The project is part of a broader program which includes the training of young agricultural professionals, subsidies and the distribution of farming products.

According to the bank, the land will be allocated to those participating in the project after five years.
