Eurogroup chief says Greece not on agenda at Vilnius summit

Greece is not on the agenda of talks of eurozone Finance Ministers, Eurogroup Chairman Jeroen Dijsselbloem told reporters in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Friday, noting that issues relating to Greece would be discussed in October or November.

As regards a possible new economic program for Greece, Dijsselbloem repeated that talks on this issue could be held in about a year from now.

Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras was in Vilnius on Friday and was expected to update his eurozone peers on positive developments in Greece’s efforts to meet fiscal adjustment targets including signs that the country is on track to record a primary surplus this year.
