OTE cuts down on paper by introducing e-bills

OTE, Greece’s leading telecoms provider, has introduced an e-bill service that will cut down on paper work and make it easier for customers to pay their telephone bills.

Customers using the new e-payment system will be able to choose whether they want to receive their bill on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, they can apply to receive an SMS notification on their mobile phones when a bill is issued and when it expires, and can also receive a detailed statement regarding their telephone use over the billing period.

Applications for the new service can be submitted at all OTE, Cosmote and Germanos outlets, as well as by telephone at 13888 or online at www.ote.gr. The online applications requires registration with the My OTE service by clicking on the e-bill option in the My Profile section.
