Tourism site’s added value
Greek tourism enterprises will reap added promotional value worth at least 100 million euros on an annual basis through the activity of Marketing Greece, a private initiative that promotes Greece as a destination abroad, Andreas Andreadis, the head of the Association of Hellenic Tourism Enterprises (SETE) and Marketing Greece, said on Tuesday at an event to present the newly launched www.discovergreece.com.
The company’s website already has information and images for 120 destinations across Greece as well as 30 theme units.
The site features 60 videos, 3,000 photos and 130,000 words of promotional content
Marketing Greece Managing Director Iosif Parsalis noted that the site is also connected to electronic booking systems.
