PPC to cut energy rates for businesses by up to 35 percent
The Public Power Corporation decided on Friday to cut energy rates for businesses by up to 35 percent but to increase charges for households, Skai television reported on Friday.
Following a meeting of PPC’s shareholders, it was decided that rates would be reduced by 20 percent for the Larco mining company and for Aluminium of Greece.
Other major businesses, such as the national steelworks, are to benefit from a 35 percent reduction.
