Cheapest water, most expensive coffee in Greece

According to a survey conducted by Omnibus for Britain’s Royal Mail comparing a number of holiday destinations, tourists in Greece pay the least for bottled still water but the most for a cup of coffee.

The survey concerns the prices tourists pay for certain services and products at popular holiday destinations.

Respondents ranked Greece high because it has competitive prices, among other reasons, trailing only Turkey and continental Spain in that respect. More than half (56 percent) of respondents said they had already visited Greece.
