ANES ferry company launches route from northern Evia to Skiathos, Skopelos

A new ferry route has been launched by ANES ferry company linking northern Evia to the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos in the Sporades cluster, marking the inauguration of a port in Kymasi, on the northeastern coast of the island.

The new line is expected to significantly boost arrivals to the popular islands from residents of Evia and the eastern coast of mainland Greece, who had to travel to Piraeus to catch a connection. It will also facilitate travel from the northern and eastern parts of Attica, via Halkida, which has a bridge connection between Evia and the mainland.
