Finance Ministry urges tax payers to meet June 30 deadline

The Finance Ministry issued a statement Tuesday calling on Greek tax payers to submit their income tax declarations by the scheduled June 30 deadline.

Failure to meet the deadline could lead to delays in the payment of the social dividend, the ministry said.

A record 146,000 declarations were submitted on Monday via TAXIS, Greece’s online state tax system, bringing the total number to 3,3 million, the ministry said.
