TANKERS In the Med., ERG, for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading August 2 Libya, discharging Italy, has fixed M/T «Mare Dorico» at W/S 112.5. – On Suezmax, Sun, for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading August 20 Algeria, discharging USAC, has fixed Alliance tonnage at W/S 82.5. – On the Cont., Ergo has fixed M/T «St. Helen» for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading August 8, discharging US Gulf, at W/S 140. – In Caribs, Valero has fixed M/T «Clyde Spirit» for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading August 7, discharging US Gulf, at W/S 190. – In W. Africa, ExxonMobil, for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading August 29, discharging Canada, has fixed M/T «Nandu» at W/S 87.5. – In Arabian Gulf, Stasco has fixed M/T «Genmar Centaur» for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading August 20, discharging New Zealand, at W/S 89.5. DRY CARGO On Panamax in Far East, NYK has fixed M/V «Tian Tong Feng,» 74,275 dwt, built 2001, delivery/redelivery Japan August 7-10, trip via Australia, at USD 16,750 daily while Kline has fixed M/V «Basic Spirit,» 73,660 dwt, built 1999, delivery Taiwan August 2-3, trip via Indonesia, redelivery Japan, at USD 17,500 daily. – In Atlantic, Sanko has fixed M/V «Pruva,» 74,137 dwt, built 1995, delivery US Gulf August 11-20, redelivery Japan, at USD 18,400 daily and USD 350,000 ballast bonus while Coeclerici has fixed M/V «Four Iron,» 67,395 dwt, built 1987, delivery Genoa Italy August 1-5, trip via Venezuela, redelivery Piombino, at USD 15,500 daily. – On smaller sizes, MUR has fixed M/V «Bella Lontra,» 43,219 dwt, built 1983, delivery Muscat August 2-5, trip via S. Africa, redelivery Far East, at USD 10,500 daily while Daeyang has fixed M/V «Pacific Pioneer,» 41,971 dwt, built 1992, delivery Continent for 12 months’ trading, at USD 12,000 daily. – On coal cargoes, NCSC has fixed M/V «Bulk Atalanta» for 140,000 tons of cargo, loading August 15-31 Indonesia, discharging Israel at USD 10.55 per ton, with 45,000 tons load and 30,000 tons discharge.
