GSEE submits appeal against Greek labor reforms to Council of Europe
Representatives of Greece’s main private sector union, the General Confederation of Greek Labor (GSEE) has tabled an appeal against the liberalization of labor regulations in Greece at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
GSEE said in a statement its appeal argues that Greek workers’ rights have been breached by the reforms undertaken over the last few years. The union says some of these changes are in breach of the European Social Charter.
GSEE added that it is also considering submitting an appeal at the European Court of Human Rights.
