Athens meet to celebrate startup spirit
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) will be celebrated in Athens for the first time next weekend as a part of the second Disrupt Startup ScaleUP event and in the presence of GEW head Jonathan Ortmans.
Organized by the Industry Disruptors-Game Changers corporation (ID-GC), the Disrupt Startup ScaleUP event is taking place on November 15 and 16 at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center.
The GEW celebration will be transmitted live to some 150 countries around the world.
Over 1 million viewers watched the live stream of last year’s first Disrupt Startup ScaleUP event for new entrepreneurship, as startups have found fertile ground in Greece, according to Ortmans.
