Greek airports broke the all-time arrivals record for a single year in just the first 11 months of 2014, as incoming traffic beat last year’s figure by 6 million passengers to reach 43 million.

Passengers on domestic flights amounted to 11.24 million in January-November, up from 9.33 million in the same period last year, while international flight passengers numbered nearly 32 million, against 27.78 million a year earlier.

In the first 11 months of 2014 there were 31,000 more flights to and from Greek airports than in 2013.
