OPAP grants extension for ‘Play’ gaming hall applications

OPAP gaming company has granted a 15-day extension to the deadline for the expression of interest by its agents as well as other professionals for the operation of gaming halls, or betting shops that will house VideoLottery Terminals (VLTs).

The Greek gaming monopoly decided to grant the extension due to the huge interest expressed not only by candidate gaming hall operators but also by property owners who have applied for OPAP to lease their property and operate it as the gaming halls named “Play” or small casinos.
