Euro working group to discuss Greek request Thursday
The euro working group (EWG) of finance officials will meet in Brussels on Thursday to discuss a Greek request for a loan extension, Kathimerini understands.
Athens is expected to submit the request earlier Thursday.
If the EWG and Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem both agree that the Greek request can be put on the table, then an extraordinary Eurogroup will be held – as soon as Friday – to decide on the issue, sources have suggested.
