Carnival city hotels fully booked for long weekend

Hotels at various popular destinations around Greece are reporting occupancy rates close to 100 percent for this Carnival weekend, particularly in areas with popular street parades such as Patra and Rethymno.

Hotel units not only in Patra but also in nearby Rio are fully booked for the three-day weekend, said Nikos Papalexis, board member of the Achaia Chamber of Commerce.
