Two Cretan aquariums among world’s top 25

Two aquariums on Crete have been selected among the list of the top 25 worldwide by the TripAdvisor website, based on travelers’ reviews.

Aquaworld at Hersonissos ranked seventh in the world, while Cretaquarium at Iraklio (pictured) took 23rd spot. In the European rankings, Aquaworld was third and Cretaquarium ninth. The world’s top aquarium according to TripAdvisor is Oceanario de Lisboa in Portugal.

The website has also ranked the top 25 water parks, with WaterPark at Faliraki on Rhodes charting 16th in the world and second in Europe.
