You'll be writing and helping with magazine and web content production, and you’ll be also given some general office tasks. Assistant art director
“Greece Is” publications is looking for a layout designer to join creative department. You will be creating layouts for all sections of the magazine, report to the art director and work closely with the photo editing team. We are looking for somebody with expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, strong portfolio and at least five years of magazine experience. If you are a highly-motivated team player who can work efficiently to produce creative ideas under pressure and firm deadlines, with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude, apply now. Basic knowledge of Dream Weaver, operating Word Press and designing banners and newsletters, will be considered a plus. Knowledge of English is essential. Copyeditor/proofreader
“Greece Is” publications is looking for an experienced English-language (mother tongue) copyeditor and proofreader. Your tasks will include editing magazine and web content in US English, ranging in subject from archaeology and history to gastronomy and nightlife, written by our editorial team in English or translated from Greek. You will also be required to proofread magazine layouts. Intuition, a keen eye for detail, knowledge of Greek and an ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
