Greece to sell 1 billion euros in T-bills on September 16

Greece will sell 1 billion euros of 13-week Treasury bills on September 16, according to statement released by the Athens-based Public Debt Management Agency on Friday.

Next week's sale comes after Greek authorities successfully refinanced three-month bills last month, keeping state finances on an even keel ahead of snap elections on September 20.

The settlement date of the new treasury bills will be September 18, according to the PDMA which said that only primary dealers will be allowed to participate and no commission is to be paid.
