Road tax notices are up and payable by end-December

The new road tax notices for 2016 have been uploaded on the Finance Ministry’s Taxisnet website, with increases for hundreds of thousands of vehicle owners and discounts for others.

The Finance Ministry has announced that the tax must be paid by December 31, but the delay already recorded in the process will likely mean that an extension up until the middle of January will be granted.

Any vehicle owners wishing to return their license plates must do so at their local tax offices by December 31.
