Greek banks take control of Nireus fish farms

Nireus Aquaculture SA is now a bank-controlled corporation, after Greece’s four systemic lenders announced they have turned the fish farming firm’s debts into shares: Piraeus Bank controls 33.10 percent, Alpha holds 20.84 percent, National owns 5.95 percent and Eurobank has raised its stake from 5 percent to 16.04 percent.
