Marginal rise in container traffic for Cosco subsidiary

Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT), the local subsidiary of Cosco Pacific, recorded a small increase in container traffic in 2015.

The data released by Cosco on Monday showed that its Greek arm handled 3.03 million containers last year, which constituted a 1.6 percent increase compared with 2014, when terminals II and III handled 2.98 million containers.

There were some great fluctuations over the course of 2015, as March posted a 21 percent year-on-year increase, while April recorded a 13.2 percent decline.
