US competitiveness council joins forces with AmCham
The presidents of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Simos Anastasopoulos, and of the US Council on Competitiveness, Deborah L. Wince-Smith, signed a joint declaration for cooperation in Athens on Thursday.
The two sides agreed to pursue a strategic cooperation to mobilize leaders and experts so as to promote sustainable economic growth and develop efficient competitiveness policies, innovative business activities, cooperation on science and technology, and growth-based innovation.
This will be done by organizing policy discussions, seminars and activities focusing on competitiveness-related issues.
