ATHEX: Stocks slip on thin trade

A spate of nail-chewing ahead of the conclusion of talks for the Greek bailout review and jitters on international stock markets saw most Greek stocks head south on Thursday, on the lowest trading volume in the last 22 sessions.

All but four blue chips posted losses, with EYDAP dropping 3.82 percent and Jumbo giving up 2.60 percent. Mytilineos added 0.78 percent.

In total 30 stocks moved up, 59 declined and 18 stayed put.

Turnover amounted to 43.4 million euros, down from Wednesday’s 73.4 million.

In Nicosia the general index of the Cyprus Stock Exchange decreased 0.60 percent to close at 67.50 points.
