In the Med., Agip has fixed M/T Panaghia Armata for 80,000 tons of cargo loading Dec. 7, Syria, discharging Med. at W/S 92.5 while El Paso for same cargo quantity, loading Dec. 15, also in Syria with same destination has fixed M/T Vergina II at W/S 95. – In the Continent, Dow has fixed Lundqvist tonnage for 80,000 tons of cargo loading Dec. 12, for UKC round voyage at W/S 97.5. – In W. Africa, Citgo for 130,000 tons of cargo loading Dec. 29, discharging US Gulf, has fixed M/T Nikator at W/S 74.5 while Sun for same cargo quantity loading end Dec., discharging USAC, has fixed M/T Front Maple at W/S 78.75. DRY CARGO On Capers, Cobam has fixed M/V Channel Poterne 172,091 dwt, built 1997, delivery France mid Dec. for 2 legs at USD 9,000 daily. – On Panamax in Far East, Norden has fixed M/V Nordmoritz 72,515 dwt, built 1995, delivery mid Dec. Japan for 3-5 months period at USD 6,350 daily. – In Atlantic, Dreyfus has fixed M/V Yong Feng 74,099 dwt, built 2000, delivery beg. December Rotterdam trip via Canada, redelivery UKC at USD 6,200 daily, while Ap Moller has fixed M/V Mass Enterprise 69,555 dwt, built 1993, delivery Dec. 5-15, S. Africa, redelivery UKC at USD 5,800 daily and USD 85,000 ballast bonus. – On smaller sizes, Southern Chartering has fixed M/V Slovenija 41,526 dwt, built 1985, delivery Dec. 8-15, S. Africa, redelivery Hong Kong at USD 6,900 daily, while IVS has fixed M/V Leon I 33,400 dwt, built 1992, delivery S. Africa, Dec. 7-15, redelivery UKC at USD 5,850 daily. The company already has similar agreements with Japan Airlines and Singapore Airlines. It projects sales in duty-free shops will reach 10 percent of its total revenues this year.
