Account declarations for professionals with PoS
Corporations and self-employed professionals with credit/debit card terminals (PoS) will have to declare their professional bank account (or accounts) on the Finance Ministry’s Taxisnet database.
This way, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue expects to make a considerable dent in tax evasion by closing the loophole through which businesses link their machines to bank accounts in Bulgaria or other states with low tax rates.
However, no deadline has been set for the declarations, and it appears the online form will be fillable throughout the year.
