Greek bond yield edges higher on Catalan vote

The Greek benchmark 10-year bond saw its yield edge higher on Friday in line with the majority of eurozone paper due to a resurgence of uncertainty in Spain following the Catalan regional election result on Thursday.

Late Friday the Greek 10-year yield stood at 4.12 percent, up from Thursday’s closing of 4.09 percent.

Spanish government debt hit a month-high on Friday while the euro lost ground to the US dollar.
