Confusion over real estate form

Understanding and completing the E9 property assets form, which is mandatory for all property owners this year, is developing into a big problem for many taxpayers. Adding to the technical difficulties involved, Deputy Finance Minister Adam Regouzas yesterday caused some confusion by calling on taxpayers to shed misgivings about declaring the true area of their residences, assuring that any mistakes found would be corrected without penalties or fines. Piraeus Prefect Yiannis Michas said, however, Regouzas’s statement was misleading and his pledges had to be legally backed.
