Tourism Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos (center) speaking yesterday at an international forum in Dubai on investment opportunities in Greece’s tourism sector. The forum, which is sponsored by the International Herald Tribune, is the second in a series of nine around the world. Avramopoulos said the investment environment in Greece is now much improved and the country, in addition to its high growth rates, has a strong institutional framework for investment.
