Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAB) CEO Tassos Philippakos (l) shakes hands with his counterpart at Alenia Aeronautica, Giovanni Bertolone (r), yesterday after the signing of the supply agreement worth $92 million (72.1 million euros) for the construction and assembling by EAB of cargo door surrounds for the new Boeing 787 passenger aircraft. This long-term cooperation, to last until 2021, is part of EAB’s strategy for the development of know-how which will allow it to respond to the ever-increasing demands of the international aerospace market.
