Tom Farmer…

Tom Farmer, president of US aircraft engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, at yesterday’s launching of 1SOURCE Aero Services, the joint venture with state-run Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAB). The new firm, in which Pratt & Whitney holds 51 percent, is based in Schimatari, north of Athens, and employs 100 highly skilled staff in the repair of accessories for a wide range of aircraft engines. The venture is part of the offsets included in the deal for Greece’s purchase of engines for 60 new F-16s in 2001.
