Sea are declining with Aframax on subs at equivalent W/S 130, while Petrogal for her cargo out of Flotta May 4-6 is holding offers down to W/S 137.5. – Med. steady with moderate inquiry from Repsol, Noc, Most and Saras. Rates are expected to stay around W/S 125-127.5. – Caribs is still trading around W/S 142.5-145 for the 70,000-ton cargo liftings. – Suezmaxes with minimum inquiry in the Med. and W. Africa. – In the Med., CSSA for 80,000 tons of cargo loading May 7 Syria, discharging Med., has fixed M/T «Sintra» at W/S 125. – In the Cont., Karran for 100,000 tons of cargo loading May 6, discharging UKC, has fixed M/T «Moscow River» at W/S 102.5. – In Caribs, Orion has fixed M/T «Continental» for 70,000 tons of cargo loading May 2, discharging US Gulf, at W/S 145. – In W. Africa, Valero for 130,000 tons of cargo loading May 11, discharging US Gulf, has fixed M/T «Genmar Zoe» at W/S 72.5. DRY CARGO Weak conditions still prevail for Capers. – Panamax freights in the Atlantic are holding with M/V «Sea Angel» 50,906 dwt, built 2001, with delivery US Gulf end April, redelivery Far East, being fixed at USD 12,000 daily. – ADM in the same area for 670,000 tons grain US Gulf / Egyptian Med. port with dates April 20-30 has fixed at USD 12.75 per day and 10,000 tons load/discharge. – Handymax still at attractive levels for Far East destinations. SK Shipping has fixed M/V «Pretty Lady» 46,960 dwt, built 1997, delivery end April US Gulf, redelivery Far East, at USD 11,250 daily. – On Panamax in Far East, ETA has fixed M/V «Artemis» 68,788 dwt, built 1990, delivery end Apr. Singapore trip via W. India redelivery Japan, USD 6,400 daily. – In Atlantic, M/V «Sea Angel» 50,906 dwt, built 2001, delivery end April US Gulf, redelivery Far East, has fixed at USD 12,000 daily. – On small sizes, Samsun has fixed M/V «Stove Campbell» 46,226 dwt, built 1999, delivery May 3-7 US Gulf for 4-6 months period at USD 9,500 daily.
