Inaugural session of the bourse in 2008…
Athens Exchange CEO Spyros Kapralos (far left) and Capital Market Commission President Alexis Pilavios (far right) take part in the sounding of the opening bell at the inaugural session of the bourse in 2008, where Kapralos also cut the traditional New Year’s cake. Kapralos said firms raised a record 12 billion euros through the bourse last year. The Alternative Market (ENA) for small and mid-sized businesses will be launched this month.
