New Year’s cake-cutting…
Public Power Corporation (PPC) President Takis Athanassopoulos (right) accompanies Development Minister Christos Folias to the company’s traditional New Year’s cake-cutting event yesterday. He said PPC’s recent joint venture agreements with Germany’s RWE and Greece’s Halyvourgiki for new power stations are only the beginning of a new strategy to make it more competitive. Folias said liberalization of the power market was proceeding steadily.
