A Greenpeace activist is ‘fed’ with genetically modified (GM) corn seeds during a protest in front of government headquarters in Romania’s capital Bucharest yesterday. Greenpeace activists asked Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu to ban the import of GM corn seeds type MON810 from US company Monsanto. The banner in the background reads ‘Romanians don’t want genetically modified corn.’
