Posidonia contacts
Publisher of Kathimerini newspaper Aristides Alafouzos (center) met in Athens yesterday with representatives from Japan’s Universal Shipbuilding Corporation and Marubeni on the occasion of the Posidonia shipping exhibition. Mr Alafouzos’s son Ioannis (second from left) and grandson Aristides were among the hosts along with Kathimerini executive editor Alexis Papachelas and officials from Cyclades Maritime, including Thaleia Kalafati, Stamatis Klimis, Yiannis Sigalas, Dimitris Sigalas, Cosmas Theraios. Officials attending from Universal included director Koichiro Shima, general manager Hiromi Kuramoto, manager Shinya Narama and director of the London Office Akihiro Yamamoto. From Marubeni, Shigefumi Mabuchi (general manager of the Ship Department) and Satoru Nakagawa (general manager of Ship Sales) were also present.
