March to SEV offices

A demonstrator ensures his demands are heard yesterday as accountants marched to the headquarters of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) in Athens. They were the latest professional group to push their financial demands by taking to the streets as rising inflation, and the erosion of consumer purchasing power, has prompted many workers to push for steeper pay hikes. Another factor is excessively high profits being realized by companies with dominant market positions.
