Cruise ships reluctant to visit Greece

Cruise ships such as the Queen Victoria are reluctant to include Greece in their schedules due to the lack of the appropriate institutional framework as a host state and the poor provision of services to cruise companies and their vessels, a recent Hellenic Association of Tourism and Travel Association (HATTA) conference heard. One direct consequence of this is the loss of revenues that could easily have come Greece’s way, given the country’s geographical position and many attractions.
