Parnassos Ski Center has facelift

The Parnassos Ski Center reopened last week after works worth 7 million euros were conducted in 2007 and 2008. The Tourism Development Company announced a set of improvements that have been carried out on the popular winter sports center northwest of Athens, including extensive renovations and upgrades to the infrastructure in and around the center. There is also an extended opening hours schedule on peak days (from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.), along with a new pricing policy that allows visitors to purchase passes at competitive prices for several days that do not have to be consecutive. Visitors can choose when to use their credits. Passes are also available online at the website www.parnassos-ski.gr. The Parnassos Ski Center, which first opened in 1976, offers full medical and insurance coverage to all its visitors and as of this month features a new reception, information and customer service desk.
