Economic sentiment drops to worst level ever in February
Greek economic sentiment worsened for the 12th consecutive month in February, sinking to its lowest level ever, according to the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE). IOBE, a nonprofit research group, said in a report yesterday its economic climate index fell to 47.2 from 55.4 points in January. The month-on-month deterioration tracked that seen in the overall eurozone economy. In the same month a year earlier Greece’s economic sentiment index stood at 103.6 points. »The downtrend of the last months has not completed its run yet,» IOBE said.
